While Bre and I only met each other four years ago, our story began much longer ago than that. When we first started dating our love was like something out of a story book. It was clear to me very early on that this was the woman I was destined to marry and spend the rest of my life with. We always say we are meant to be and I truly believe it.

Back in August of 2020 I had just moved back home to Tampa and Bre had just begun working on her masters degree at The University of South Florida. After a few conversations on the dating app Bumble I asked Bre to meet up over some food and drinks at the Tampa Bay Brewing Company in Ybor City. It was about as close to love at first sight as you can get. Needless to say the date was a success. At the time I was living at my parents house, but there was rarely a day where I did not make the drive to Bre’s apartment at USF and back. Looking back on it now it occurs to me that my parents must have been thinking I was crazy to be driving over to her every single day, however I know that they understood that I was head over heels in love with the girl who would one day become my wife.

It was not long after that when we moved into our first house together where we still live with our two cats Sake, and Leo, and our dog Blue. Our story has included countless evenings on our front porch, brewery hopping our favorite local spots, nights in watching our favorite TV shows, and traveling around the world together.

When we started dating it was pretty clear to both of us that this was something very special. I knew very early on that Bre was the woman who I was going to marry, I think we both did. We both knew there was no rush, we were going to be together forever so there was no need to jump into an engagement. Well around December of 2023 I knew it was time, or at least that I could not wait any longer. I texted Bre’s sisters, Roe and Julia, and told them I wanted to facetime them. They both agreed and I explained to them what I think they already knew, that I was deeply and unconditionally in love with their sister Bre. I told them I was working on getting a ring and would let them know when the big moment was coming. Thanks to the help of my dear friend’s the Cuonos, I was able to procure the hardware and make things official. At the end of March this year, 2024, I told Bre we were going to lunch and took her to the place where we first met, Tampa Bay Brewing. I got down on my knee and asked her to marry me. As you all know her response to this was an emphatic yes!

Since then we have been overjoyed planning our wedding, and are so happy to be able to share it with our closest friends, and family members! We look forward to seeing you in our city, Tampa, Florida on April 5, 2025 to celebrate our love with you all!
